People choose Nextel because the get addicted to direct connect, and because they don't have a variable feature set like almost every hodge-podge of roaming partnerships.
Take AT&T for example. God only knows if this or that feature will work in any given area. I'm talking both TDMA and GSM.
Regarding this phone: it is a good tool like an ugly old pickup truck is a good tool. Ugly old pickups aren't for attracting babes, and neither is this phone... well, maybe a certain kind of babe...
