Kyocera SoHo KX1

I can't figure out how to turn off the annoying do Do DO sound

It happens about every 5 minutes, I have no new messages, no new voicemail, I don't know why it makes this sound, but it makes the sound and lights up the exterior sreen at the same time. very annoying. Please help.
