My Kyocera has 194 separate listings in the phone book, and 20 of them have more than one phone number, so there's proof that the phone book can hold up to 200 distinct entries, each with several phone numbers.
All I can say is, if your assessment is accurate, then Kyocera made a big mistake by shifting production to Mexico a few months ago. My phone from US Cellular (and all the other ones from USC that I've looked at) were made in the USA.
Maybe they will follow the Lionel Trains model. Many years ago Lionel shifted production to Mexico, but returned it to the USA after many, many QC problems with the Mexican production. Maybe Kyocera needs to do the same, if you are correct.
