yeah it's easy to convert mp3's to AAC and send them to my A700 but the quality nowhere near utilizes the capabilities of the speaker. ring tones from PCS vision sound so much better. i have been using methods described here: http://www.sprintusers.com/forum/showthread.p hp?t=54271 anyway to transfer tones without butchering the quality?

ok guyz it's me again. i answered my own question. the best way to keep quality is to 1st use the mp3 trim software found at http://sprintusers.com to shorten your clip to probably no longer than 20 seconds, due to the limited amount of data that they will let you upload. then simply download i-tunes for free. open the clip in i-tunes, right click on it and choose option to convert to AAC. then copy file from i-tunes and paste in a folder. after that use the uploader at sprintusers.com to send it to your phone. there you have it: good quality ringtones for FREE. (instructions on how to use mp3trim are also at sprintusers.com)
