Looks Excellent - Where's The Bluetooth?
I would head out to The Good Guys here in Bellevue, Washington right now if this phone had one more imperative feature: Bluetooth. I have a hard time understanding the CDMA carriers' reluctance to push their phone manufacturers to produce bluetooth enabled phones.
I'm not looking for file transfer ability, synching up with my palm or laptop or car ... I simply want to use a wireless headset. I think wired headsets are some of the most cumbersome, unreliable, annoying devices ever created, but they are necessary for using a phone efficiently. Implement bluetooth consistently and ouala! The solution. Wireless headsets have not received the credit they deserve in the US especially.
Also note: This phone does in fact support AAC (MP4) files as ringtones at up to a 48kHz, 64kbps sampling and encoding rate. I'm not sure if Sprint is offering these yet through their WAP services, however, I have been producing them for some time now.
