TI Processor?

I know about the older ARM procs and that most of the newer iPAQs use the Intel XScale Proc, but I'm not familiar with this new TI proc.

I wonder if this is going to affect the ability to install and run other apps on the unit. The inability to run other applications (other than what comes with/on the unit) may be the ONLY reason I don't get this unit.

I've been a LONG-TIME supporter of the iPAQ series, and I've been drooling over the 5555 for the longest time now. Just recently I got a Sierra Wireless AirCard 750 on T-mobile for my iPAQ 3870 and it works flawlessly (both in data and voice modes). I would have switched to that device by now, except the battery in my unit wouldn't last a day being on all the time like my cell phone nee...
