I'm in the same boat as you. I'm torn between the d415 and the p730. Should I wait and get the p730 or get the d415 now? Someone please give us you opinion. And another thing..I read on the message board about the release date. Some say third quarter some say fourth quarter. Someone said August and someone else said October. Does anyone REALLY have an idea when it might be released?

The d415 is just an e715 that slides and records video in a nutshell (a bit exaggerated)
this has a high resolution screen, megapixal camera outer color display 65 mgb memory card, mp3 player.....all of that, the 415 does not have. now decide for yourselves

the D415 and the P730 are very similar..
OF COURSE they arent the same... but the D415 is very alike from the p730...
if you want a phone that's totally worth the wait... WAIT LONGER...

I like the flip better. In fact, the E315 will be out sometime soon and it is alot smaller and sleeker than this one. And even though I like the look of the E315 over this phone, I think I will hold out for the 735 cuz of the MP3, 100 minutes worth of video recording, and megapixel camera.

And by the way, i spoke to my samsung rep and he said this will have speakerphone. Not sure if he is right or not....but i dunno why he would be wrong

If this phone had speakerphone It would be perfect. I don't care about Bluetooth. But speakerphone is not listed as a feature under the information about the phone. I think if it did have speaker they would've put it on cuz that's a pretty nice feature..especially since most Samsungs don't have speakerphone. I hope your rep is right.
