Samsung SGH-E316 / SGH-E317
call quality
I have heard from some people that the call quality on the E317 is kinda bad. Like, when youre talking on it, it's hard to hear the other person, and for them to hear you. I assume this is just comparing this phone to Cingular's other phones. This phone seems awesome in every aspect and I want to buy it...but this issue with call quality is keeping me back.
Has anybody heard anything like this about the E317? and basically, what should I do?

I think this phone is absolutely great. I have had it for a week now and would say go for it. I have cingular also and havent had any problems with the reception.

I buy 2 the E-317 on November 26, and both phones come with this problem, when u call to the voicemail u can't hear nothing, but belive me, NOTHING, i went to the store to change both pones, but this store has 11 more E317, and ALL OF THEM has the same problem,
First I think tha this problem was the CINGULAR IVR, but no! if you call to the same number but using the Handsfree, you can heard all clearly!! I used my sim card in a diferent Cingular phone, and i heard clearly too!
I Called to Cingular, and them tell me "IS A MANUFACTURING PROBLEM, SEND US THE PHONE WE REPLACE FOR A NEW ONE"
I think the FIRST LOT of E317 was ok, or, a BIG LOT of E317, come with tha problem...
