i honestly doubt there will be simply for this reason, the merger is speculated to complete sometime in october-november, therfore they would take over ATT's current "stock" if you will, so it will be "released" but what i mean by that is that cingular will just sell the ATT version as its own, rebadged and firmware corrected of course

You have a good point. But there is a photo on Samsung.com of this phone. It looks the same except the middle of the cover is black. And if you look at the inside pic there is the Cigular logo on the WAP button.
