New to the 6256i... couple of questions..

My new 6256i is coming in the mail from my girlfriend. I'm currently using Verizon. She has the same phone as me.. except she has MetroPCS.

Anyways.. just curious.. could someone tell me how to play MP3s as the ringtones on my Verizon Nokia 6256i?

Also.. I'm new to the whole 'bluetooth' thing.. I read on some of the features of the Nokia 6256i that you can take pictures with the camera.. and send them to your computer VIA bluetooth.. thus not paying Verizon's $0.25 charge. Is this true? Also how would I do this. I'm getting the Jabra bluetooth headset.. what else would I need in order to transfer files back and forth to my phone via bluetooth? Also are those cheap $5 cables and cds for the Nokia 6256i that they sell on ebay really go...

chinab, I've got a VZW 6256, but I haven't taken any pictures with it.

I *have* sent files to my Nokia via my PowerBooks BT assistant.

First one pairs two BT devices. In this case I used my PowerBooks BT Assistant app to find my Nokia, after using the phones menu to make it "Discoverable".

One I paired them, it was just a matter of using my BT app to select and send the file to the phone. Once there, I Accept it and file it appropriately.

Using the Nokia's Connectivity Menu, you should be able to select "Bluetooth" start the process from your phone (make your computer "Discoverable") easily enough.

A buddy has the Metero PCS version and easily sends his pics to email addresses. I imagine this uses air time, but no .25$ c...

I had the jabra 250 and it work well for a couple of days and then I had to answer my calls using the ph keypad instead of the Head Set. Try rebooting it and still didn't work. Took it back and got the HS-11W Sometomes same did happens. I reinstall and it works again. Make sure you cut the ph off.

what do you mean cut the PH off??????? cause my jabra 250 is acting up just like yours did.. any help would be appreciated.
