SIM Card

That little slot under the battery, is that a SIM card slot? I want to say no, but I'm not sure and I can't find an answer anywhere.

If it is, I could use one from my store with a GSM carrier in Canada when I go up in May as a prepaid service. Totally not worth buying a new $200-300 phone for a half a month. 😕

Actually its not a SIM card slot.

I forget the actuall name of it, but it is there because in other CDMA newtworks they use a divice similar to a SIM card. I just can't remember what it is called, can someone help me out?

As for working on the GSM network, nope the phone is CDMA only!

I have heard of a few carriers that don't use the cards now, are looking into the cards... One more way for them to limit access to the phones. 😕 ☚ī¸
