I had a Motorola A840 in Europe last year and had to keep re-booting it; in other words, it was no good and I returned it. Now I'm going to Europe again and the only two GSM phones Verizon sells are this one or a Samsung A795. I don't know whether to give the A840 another try, or the Samsung.
Alternatively, I could buy a phone from Mobal for 49.99 or 99.99 - either a Motorola C117 or Nokia 3120--and just pay for usage.
Any advise on which one to pick?
