Yea well it wasn't by choice i became overly informed with this phone 
i had a run around with the store and ended up doing my own research because the store didn't know anything so i found it all out and than having the phone helped out its a good phone once it gets passed conditioning the standard battery and the extended battery. I do highly recommend the dual desktop charger on Verizons website for this phone its $39.99 it will work for the V710 and other phones as well it will charge your phone and batteries at the same time and you can get a speaker phone adapter as well its a help on the phone. I think why there are charging problems is because of how thick the wire is on the travel charger it packs some power. The wire on the travel adapter is as thick as the wire on a car charger. Of course they have to make the adapter so it will hold up in other countries as well.
