A840 Transflash memory to Phone Memory Question

So I just got my new A840 however it seems I cannot move anything from my transflash card onto the phone memory, specifically mp3's to set as a ringer! Some people have said the newer firmware installed on this phone stopped the user from being able to do this. Has anyone found a way around this? I appreciate any comments or help.
