I think it might work with att

Hello,

Well i was at the att wireless store today and i picked up the v600 pamplet thing or whatever anyway i read the back and it SAID oPERATES ON gSM/gPRS 850/1900(NorthAmerica) and 900/1800 (Global) Frequencies so we might be in luck.

...by global, they mean overseas. It means the same thing on the A840.

U.S. networks are 800/850 and 1900. Overseas networks are 900 and 1800.

Both the V600 and the A840 support GSM 900/1800, which means they will both work in Europe, Africa, and Asia.

But as for North America, the A840 will only work on CDMA networks.
