This phone looks pretty cool, and video calling would be neat, but I would hate to switch to AT&T for this. Plus, it doesn't even support 850Mhz!

I year ya...but this is new broadband technology from AT&T...service might be better? This phone sounds pretty awesome with all the features I would ever want. I'm thinking of going with the Motorola v710 and Verizon, but 2-way-video sounds pretty damn cool. Anybody have more information about this phone?

I don't have any info for this phone but I wouldn't wait just for the video calling. When I was in Japan a year ago they had video calling but no one uses it because it drains battery life like crazy and is also really expensive.

Well look in the info to see what frequency is supports. GSM 900/1800/1900 and W-CDMA 1900. GSM 850Mhz isn't there, Nokia said it would add 2-3 months to the release date for them to add it.

If you buy it from ATT, then yes, its a triband. But it supports all 4 gsm bands. Its truly a world phone that will work in the Americas, Europe, Japan... Just that it cannot support European UMTS band (2100) that easily..
