Can I make the ringtones louder?

i downloaded a few ringtones cuz the rings that came with the phone were really bad...but problem is they are way too quiet, even with the volume turned all the way up. if there is any type of noise in the room i cant hear my phone ring. i'm just wondering if there are any settings i am missing or am i out of luck.

so far thats the only thing i dont like about the phone, but that is a pretty big thing to me.

I was disappointed with the couple of downloaded MP3 ring tones I put on this phone. I've been told it's a hit or miss thing when it comes to volume. If the person who makes it does it at a low recording volume, there's nothing you can do about it, but it's not the phone's fault.

I turned in a Motorola v551 for the 8200 because I thought the pre-loaded ring tones and volume control were barely adequate. Either put up with the Sanyo or you may have to change phones. I'm thinking what other sounds you have going on in your room that overcomes your ringers? Even the loudest cell phone is no match for a stereo turned up.

Not a problem. I & others would probably be curious who you end up with. Keep us posted, ok? 🙂

will do

its not that i wanna switch, just that qwest has been a real pain so far migrating us from the old network to the new network...and we eventually want to add another phone to the family plan but they wont let us

so thats the reason we need to switch

what i dont get is why they dont want our money

another phone = more money 😕

You don't really say how long you've been with your carrier. Are you within your 14 day remorse period? That would make the switch a little easier. Essentially QWEST uses Sprint's network. Why not go with Sprint? I think their plans are a little better than QWEST's for the money. Their family plans are pretty decent. And if you still want to use a Sanyo phone, you can but you'd probably have to turn in your QWEST issued phone. I'm not sure but I think I'm right on this one.

yeah we are within the period

but we got a really good deal so if we switch it will end up costing us more money
