I have a question
IF this phone by any chance comes out with t-mobile, can i buy the phone and then insert a cingular sim card? Will it still work? And can I do that with other phones with the same gsm band?

If you buy it with T-Mobile, it will almost certainly be locked to their service alone, meaning no other company's GSM card will work with it.
That's not to say that you cannot get an outside company to get you the SIM Unlock code for it, but realize that if you buy the handset from T-Mobile and cancel during the Buyer's Remorse period - no rebate. And there's no word so far that T-Mobile USA was going to carry it, as far as I know...
