VX-6100, Openwave, and graphics?

I set up a wap proxy at home and my VX-6100 with its Openwave browser uses
it just fine, except for graphics. Whether I set the browser to download
images or not, it doesn't seem to care - it just will not download images.

Is there anything I can do about this? I'm a big fan of weather radar, and
if I can have options other than GIN, I'd like to visit weather sites of
my own choosing and see the images I want.

Looking ahead, when my contract expires in November, I'm looking at VZ
Navigator. If I do end up with the Motorola v325, can I anticipate any
proxy problems with it? My wife's T720 is seen on my firewall, but refuses
to go beyond, using the same settings as my LG, and has the same subnet as
my LG.
