VX-7000 instead? VX-7000 has no analog. They should definitely release the 6100. Just give it better bettery than 6000.

Yes, and please LG! don't drop the vibrate only mode like you did with the 4500-4600 phones. Leave it as it is on the 6000.

the 7000 has the vibrate feature. there are two versions of the 7000. One is digital only and one is the 7000a which also does analog. I don't think anyone knows which one is coming out yet. However it will be in the stores this Friday.

OK, but I do like the 6100 better than the 7000. For some reason I think the front (sub) LCD is not good. Besides using more battery, It's too much for me. I rather like clean looking LCD with clock and date with big letters all the time (think VX 4400).

7000a have analog? never heared of this before, but it's good news for most customers. I hope the price is the same (or less) as 7000 - not higher.

Does it have vibrate feature? And I don't mean manner mode. That's trash to me. I need vibrate and THEN ringing (in case I miss the vibration). In my old TM-510 you had extra settings for Ring type (vibrate only, ring only, or vibrate and THEN ring), then a different setting for Ring/Vibrate volume (i.e. how loud and deep the vibration will...

This phone is scheduled to be released in September according to our LG rep. It's tri-mode, with the same picture quality as the 6000. It doesn't have the scrolling colorful display like the 6000 as it (according to the rep) was very costly and supposedly people complained about not being able to see the time all the time. Although the outer screen is black and white pictures can be taken while closed and it will show in color on the inside. It also has the enhanced voice services (digit dial, voice scheduler, etc.) like the 4500 and speakerphone and supports the driving mode when the headset is plugged in. The phone has a shutter/mirror which hides the lens until you are ready to pull it down and take a picture. The wallpaper is the sa...

An LG rep was in the store earlier this week, he said the phone will be released after we sell out of VX6000's. The 6000 has been discontinued for a while, but I guess VZW has a ton of them in stock. That's all the news I know.
I played with the 6100, it seems sturdier that the 6000. The shutter is a cool feature, I think. The pone can now hold 50 pics instead of 20, and it's tri-mode. With the populatity og both LG & the 6000, this phone should sell very nice if it's priced right.
