Just off the phone. Ordered the VX6100 from telesales using "new every two" without a problem. Only cost tax + $50 which will be rebated. (They were out of rebate forms, but gave me phone number to call and request one) I was told to expect delivery by 10/21 or 10/22. Told also that I will need a new auto charger as the one for my old VX4400 will not work with the VX6100. Seems like it was a smooth transaction. Nice dealing with pleasant and knowledgeable CSR's over the phone! 🙂

You could always call 800-256-4646 (800-2-join-in) and go through the prompts as well

i just called my telesales dept from verizon wireless, as of now the phone is not available from my region, the northeast, she has the pricing which typically means it is coming, however she did say that it is now available in other parts of the country, prob parts where the 6000 has depleted faster, she told me that i could order from different regions stock because my phone number account is based in the northeast so all i can do is wait for it to be released to the northeast 😢

i'm also in the northeast and its not looking good for the 6100 to hit before my 15 days on the 9900 is up. talked to a rep on the phone i've been working with pretty closely and she said she highly doubts the 6000 will be sold out in the next couple days and they wouldnt be offering it until it does.

Started the process by dialing 611 on my cell. They connected me to telesales. The CSR I spoke with was in Sacramento. I'm in So. Calif., Palm Springs area. The CSR told me the 6000 was out of stock out here (the West). Hopefully, other centers will have the phone soon. I'll post a review as soon as I test it out. I returned the Audiovox 9900 one day after I got it. I live in a fringe area near the base of the mountain and the 9900 had terrible reception. My LG VX 4400 does pretty well for reception but has been dropped once too often and the sound is now distorted! I'll post by next weekend my thoughts on the 6100.

Received the 6100 this morning. Charged battery, powered up, but not able to make or receive calls (It kept going between full bar digital to analog). 😢 Worked with tech support about 30 minutes. They suggested it was defective, and to swap it out at the local store. Called the local store (So. Cal. Palm Springs area) and they have only one left! They promised to hold it. All in all, I do like the form. It's a bit longer than the VX4400, but lighter. Screen is nice and clear. Feels good in my smallish hand. Will try and update when I have one that works!
