After some research... checking the LG site, the FCC site, the Verizon site, the PDF manual (and more)...
It appears that the 6100 has a "barrel" style charging port on the bottom... the same size and specs as on the LG vx3200...
The data connection on the bottom (which you can also apply charge power through) is the same as the 3200/7000/8000...
