I belive it will cost somewhere from 400 to 600 but don't take my word for it cause it mite be only 200 or it could be 800 but i really dought it would be that cheap or that much. Because the p900 is about 700 and i image does a lot more things then the s700 but its just to big, however, that doesn't stop it from costing so much. I dought its somewhre near 200 because it can cam-record which most phones cannot and i dont think theres any phones that can records as long as the sony ericssons which is about 512mins at most if you have that meo stick.

I think it will be in the $200-300 because I looked and sprint has a video camera phone in that range

An educated guess would be around $700 or $800. The new trend leans toward these slide around phones. Not to mention they throw in a 1.3 megapixel camera with a 262K screen. Also included is bt, a space for a memory stick, video capture, stereo FM radio, monster screen size with picture ID compatibility. I think SE will realize the type of winner they have on their hands and won't let it slip away for less than $700 (at least for the first couple months after release).

Look at this site

http://www.gsmdealer.nl/index.php3?toestelmerk=Sony- ... »

It's in dutch but you can compare prices to other SE phones on the page. The s700i is offered for 695,- euro including shipping within the Netherlands. So it's more expensive then the P900 and the P910 (675,- euro)!! 😕
The price of the K700 on this site is 419,- euro. Compare it to the price of the phone in the US and you'll get an indication of the prices of the new phones.

The good news is that the new phones are expected in october over here 😁 , so only one more month of waiting.

yeah that sounds about right I guess but if its over 600 that is just to much and I for one won't by that phone and just spend the money I have been saveing on something else. Because over 600 is just to much and i mean the p910i runs above that price and i do not think the s700i should be more then the p910i plus the v710 and kola phones are mega 1.2 camras this is a 1.3 and those other ones are just running for about 250. If anyting at most this phone should be 600 wthiout carrier and probably 400 with the carrier. Of course the s700 is a lot better then the v710 and kola; therefore allowing it cost much more, however there is a limit and how much that should be.

i dunno how the mobile phone market in the US works but over here in Holland phones get picked up by all the carriers.
If i take a subscription with KPN Hi (225 free minutes and/or 450 sms for free per month), i'll pay €30,- a month and the phone will cost €241,-. I'll be stuck with the subscription for 2 years but i don't think i'll be bored soon with the phone 😁
Here are the prices of the s700i if we take a subscription at our mayor carriers. Without one the phone is still around the €700,-
