This phone looks pretty hot. I have the T610 with t-mobile right now but the signal is horrid. When i switch my sim to my samsung e105 it's great. Does anyone know how the signal strength is on this phone? If its better than the 610 i may acctually think about gettin it.

With the Sony Ericssons, I think you get an RF indicator that is more accurate. I've used a t610 with one bar and carried on a conversation as clear as a bell on Tmobile's network. I've also seen a Sanyo 5300 with 5 bars drop call after call (I think Sanyo's indicators aren't as accurate as everyone thinks they are).

From my past experiences all SE's i have used had poor strength. Not even comparing the bars....i just either couldnt get out where another phone could, or it couldnt hold a call where another phone could.

actually I've had 2 SE phones. first the T68 and everyone knows that this phone is the phone of choice for crappy reception. My 2nd one is T616, with the updated firmware my reception is great. I never seen my phone drop down to more than 3 bars. I rarely get drop calls. Ive also tried the T610, I dont get as good reception on that as T616.

The new T637 for AT&T and Cingular has an upgraded antenna as well. It improved a full RF class The S700 will have the same if not better antenna.
