Hi, I just got the phone and I've read on the net that this phone has push-to-talk function? But I can't seem to find anything about it on the sony ericsson site or on the manual. Could someone explain this to me pleasse?

From what's been said on the forums and elsewhere, the PTT function has been disabled, because it isn't supported on Cingular's network (yet)! There has been talk of them implimenting some form of PTT technology in the future, which may or may not work with the phone.

The side button which was made for PTT, can be programed to perform another function as a short-cut key to any menu you use regularly.

Hope that helps,

This is actually being tested in some areas in the US, i think my manager said it will be about a year before it is openly used throughout US.

Can you explain the programming process for the right side button? The manual doesn't seem to explain it.
