Well i got off the phone from cingular and guess what? THe z500a will be officially released tomm, december 2nd! đ But here comes the downside...cingular stores will not have it until sometime next week đ . The cingular website will take upto 4 days to update it self with the new phone. đ So lets cross our fingers and hope this information is right. đ

đ Just a favor for everyone that stops by this board looking for the phone... The next time anyone talks to a Cingular/At&T or SE Rep and they give someone a date for release...Ask for their Extension or Emp # or something.

The Reason I say this is that 'everyone' seems to talk to someone who has a magic date, but as of yet I have called weekly since march to At&T/Cingular & SE and no one has had a date or time. Maybe we can call this insider that people talk to in order to get updates since they had the 'skinny' once upon a time.

I know everybody that gives these "for sure" dates means well, but it only adds to the annoyance when the info turns out to be wrong.

I dont know about anyone else but im getin my phone tomorrow đ. Try going through a third party store like cell tech or beep america. They might already have it. The guy i get my phones from does

I talked to a cingular guy today who said that they ordered them a couple days ago and that they would probably be in the store on Tuesday. He also seemed to indicate that another phone would come out at the same time...

Did you get the 'Cingular Guys' Emp # or operator number, how about his cell phone #... đ What I mean is that I'm sure that this gentlemen knows his stuff, but so did the other 2000 gentlemen making pradictions or promisses for the past 8 months or so.

As for the last person who got fed up and is going to someplace beyond Cingular... đ kewl but be advised that Cingular will not insure you new z500 if it is not purchased from Cingular. Thus--your 200-300 dollar phone may become rather fragile... đ
