Hey. I got a T637 from a friend in states and I want to use i with my T-mobile sim in London. When i put in the sim it says no network. Tried all the sims but keeps on getting the same message. So it must be locked to At&T network only. My question is that can I unlock it and use it here in UK or can it be only used in states. And for unlocking shall I buy a terminator dongle. Is there any other way of unlocking it .. a bit cheaper way that is.

The ATTWS T637 can certainly be unlocked, but even if you do unlock the phone it's not a 'world phone'. If the network you are trying to access in the UK is at 900 MHz, this phone wont work.

The T637 is simply a North American version of the international T630. Aside from network frequency (The T630 contains GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz whereas the T637 uses GSM 850 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) and colors, the two phones are identical.
