T637 ATT ... for sure?
The T637 is available today from Cingular. You can call them up and buy it for $249 list or $99 with a 2 year commitment.
Sony Customer Service says T-Mobile will be the only carrier to offer it (yeah right).
Att is saying they know nothing about the phone and do not know if they are going to carry it.
Does anyone know for sure if ATT will carry it and when?

Well, I'm sure AT&T will be carrying it seeing that they have an 800 MHz frequencies. Also, if you go to AT&T's website, they have on-line help for operating the T637
...
ATT's technical website discusses many phones that they don't carry.
I know it is likely that ATT will carry the phone, I'm wondering if anyone has factual information about if and when.

And to answer this question, it really just depends. You can usually order through cust service or online before we get the phones in the store, BUT they don't usually ship until we have received our first orders in the store.
So, basically...about the same time frame, unless customer care says otherwise.

They are saying on the AT&T forum that the T637 won't be available from ATT until August. Di you get your shipment?

We get big shipments in on Tuesdays here where my store is. So I will let you know tomorrow if they came in for this week or not.

I spoke to a VERY nice customer service rep the other day who was quite certain that this phone was not planned anytime soon, even after I explained that I was planning to switch to Cingular to get it at a good price. Let's hope you're right about ATT getting this soon; I hate to switch!

Anyhow, we are getting it, and very shortly in the stores. At the person in the other post just stated - it was just ordered through customer care.
Give us another week or so, or just call customer care and order one. I would hate for you to switch too.
