For me, I would only get a tri-mode phone. Some places I travel to in the boonies I can only get an analog signal - with an all digital phone (VX7000) I would have no service. It does not take "videos", but the VX6100 is tri-mode as is the Koi/KX2. I generally love LG phones and have had a couple and was very pleased with them.
I just picked up the KX2 from Verizon for my wife, and so far I like it - she does too.
None of these cameras is going to have a decent picture, no matter how much the claimed resolution is. You can pick up a small digital camera that will do a TON better job. Also, with Verizon you have to e-mail the pictures ($0.25 each, or get on a xx pictures for $x plan) with most of the phones to do anything with them. With a real digital camera, not only will the pictures and flash be tons better - so you easily get them off the camera onto a PC or print directly from the memory at WallyWorld, Walgreens, etc.
