Yes, the phone has that ability. Using the data service of your carrier you should be able to download low quality music ringtones. You can also purchase a Kyocera data cable, once their available from the company, and then you can upload your own ringtones.

No, you can download lyrical ringtones now via most data services. Their quality is just alittle on the low side.

so the koi does actually have the ability to play lyrical ringtones? Because this is not specified anywhere in the reviews for it and it is not listed as mp3 compatible.

Modtones DJ and Realtone Jukebox are both on several US Cellular phones right now, I have the LG VX6000 and have both apps on that. If it's not on the koi when it first comes out it will be out sometime after that. Sometimes it takes awhile to get the catalog updates done and everything after a phone is launched.

No offical date yet on the koi, I've heard several rumors floating around that it could be released tomorrow or a few days after, connected with the v710, and then I've heard all the way out untill the middle of december before it could be released. We'll have to wait and see. V710 might end up geting pushed back as I've heard a sales agent got one at USC and it was having the same problems as Verizons v710.

Since you know so much about cell phones, i decided to wait on a camera phone and get a nice digital camera
So im looking at the lg 5550 i think it is and the motorola v262 for uscc.
Do you have any idea if either one of these have modtones dj and realtone jukebox?
Also which one do you think is better for like call quality, Reception and batter life.
I decided these are more important than having a camera on the phone.
I have the soho right now and hate it.
Im so sorry for all the questions, but if you can please answer for me, i would so appreciate it so much
Thanks

Don't recall if either of those apps are on the 5550 and the USC EE site is down right now so I can't check, won't know whats on the 262 untill after it's released. Just like your other questions can't be answered untill the 262 is actualy released. You can check the battery life in the phones section here on phone scoop though!
