Answering a call with speakerphone when swivel is closed?

Can anyone tell me if I can answering a call with speakerphone when the swivel is closed. So far, I had to open the phone first, press the "speakerphone" icon, then close the phone to be able to answer it directly with speakerphone when it is closed. Is there a way to activate the speakerphone with the jog-dial or any other way instead of opening it and pressing the speakerphone icon?
😕

Thanks

When a call comes in you should be able to use the swivel button to answer the call. It automatically goes into speaker mode.

use the job wheel to answer it...then you use the backup microphone/earpiece with it closed
then use the jog wheel to go through the menu and activate speakerphone

its a cool phone...but i use my phone alot while i drive...experience with a blackberry jog wheel was noto fun...i'll stick with normal fips

Could someone explain this a little bit better. Whenever I use the jog wheel when on a call it just brings up the earpiece volume option

I just got the phone and want to answer it and use speaker while it is closed.

I know how you answer the phone, but I do not know how to activate the speaker phone while it is closed.

I know how you answer the phone, but I do not know how to activate the speaker phone while it is closed.

Unfortunately, you can't answer the phone in speaker mode while the swivel is closed. 😢 However, you can turn the speaker on close the swivel and make calls either from your contacts or recent calls list by using the jog.

At least this has been my experience. If someone else knows the answer to this query please let us know.
