When is this phone coming out for VZW!!!???
I love VZW service, but their phone release schedules suck. They say that they take a long time testing the phones to make sure that they release "bug-free phones", but then they turn around and release the Moto V710. A real piece of crap.
Hurry up VZW and release the KOI so I can stop bitching about this!!!! 😉

I totally agree with you. I've been waiting for it all summer, thinking that it would be out either at the end of August or September. Now I think that it would be out for December (hopefully). I really want to get rid of my old phone with Nextel. So as soon as the Koi comes out, I'm getting it.
P.S. I noticed that on the VZN site, the V710 is no longer listed, as well as the Audiovox 9900.

Well how about that? I wonder why they pulled these 2 phones off their site. Perhaps they are out of stock of them even though they normally edit the information on their website to say so. Or perhaps they have found some significant bugs in the 2 phones which would make it necessary to eliminate them from their lineup.
I gotta be honest. I think that Verizon's current offering of phones is extremely boring. I sure hope that they will be releasing some new and exciting phones soon.

I was about to say, they would usually list those phones as "out of stock". But they totally pulled them off the site. Perhaps you're right, maybe those phones have some type of bugs. I heard a lot of people complaining about the Motorola V710, which would make sense in this situation. But a lot of people love the Audiovox 9900, therefore leaving me confused. 🙄

The v710 is on a motorola recall because of a tilted camera problem, and the 9900 is being discontinued soon because they just sold them too quick at too low of a price. Theres also rumors that Toshiba will no longer manufacture for Audiovox. The only way to purchase a 9900 is by ordering it until Toshiba/Audiovox run out of stock. Thats it all in a nut shell.

I sell VZW service and went to a product show on Wednesday. Talked to the Kyocera rep and got to play with this phone. He told me that this phone would be coming out before the holidays. They are trying to get it out even sooner then hoped. Pretty slick phone. Don't even need to have it opened to call or answer a call. You can pretty much do everything with the phone in the normal position. Awsome quality all around. Not usually a fan of Kyocera but this one should be a winner.
