LG L1200
Is T9 broken?
Try this:
Turn on T9 and start a new message. Type 842817. On the L1200, it comes out as "That'S", but on all other phones it comes out as "That's" (lowercase S). There is no practical way, without turning off T9, to type the lower case S.
Here's another:
Start a new message and type the word "John" (5646). It comes out correct. Now try to type "Hello John". You'll have to switch to uppercase to type the J, but there's no option to capitalize only the next letter. Once you switch to uppercase, type 5, then switch to lower case, it forgets about what you previously typed and you get "Kmin."
This behavior is different from EVERY OTHER T9 implementation I've used. I think the L1200 is broken. Text messaging is next to useles for me. Can others confirm?
