I am eligible to upgrade my phone soon. Best Buy is selling both the LG L1200 and the Samsung P107 for $99.99. I can't decide which phone is better or which was would be the best for me. Any suggestions to sway me one way or the other?

the lg is better to me for a couple of reasons: the lg has a vga camera ,and is tri band so you will pick up other carriers towers in places where cingulars coverage is weak!!,plus the p107 is getting replaced by the e317 !!

My gf jsut picked up the lg, and after playing with it for a while, I have to say its a pretty solid phone....doesnt have many features, but it seems to carry out the features it does have very well. It also feels alot more solid than the p107....the samsung feels like a toy to me, but thats just my opinion.

I was in your exact situation. If you're going to take advice, you definitely need to take it from me. Me and my brother went to Best Buy the other day, I bought the Samsung P107, he got the LG. Well, at first I thought the P107 was kind of nifty with its colorful menus and rotating camera. But then I found out that it is not very good at all.

1)There is a 40kb limit on ringtones, that is only 10 sec of high quality music

2)the camera SUCKS, really, it does. Me and my bro took pictures of the same thing, and his is a LOT crisper and better looking. Also, his phone can take up 640x480, which is pretty damn good for a phone.

3)The phone will not shut up. Too many loud obnoxious sounds that you can't turn off, including the camera.
