just got a replacement phone due to my old one shutting off all the time, even after the firmware update.

i copied all my files using a usb and bitpim. however, the calendar is grayed out, so apparently bitpim is not compatible with the calendar function.

i haven't had any luck with backing up and restoring with qpst. i can back my old phone up, but can't restore to the new one. it recognizes it, but won't write to it. i forget what the error is write now.

are there any options for backing that calendar up?

Verizon has a back-up utility that can be used for address book but I'm not sure about calendar.

I think it costs $1.99 to use and you can access it through Get-It-Now.

You might want to check it out... I hate giving Verizon any more money than I have to, but $1.99 seems reasonable enough!

Good luck!

unfortunatley their back up service does not work on the calendar. still can't get it synch'd. starting to look like i'm gonna have manually going to copy it down. would really suck to lose this phone and not have the calendar backed up somewhere.

Datapilot software actually will allow you to backup your calendar and then transfer it back to your phone. It can also pull the info from Outlook too.
