yes, because sprint operates on cdma/amps. And vzw operates on cdma, so you can, just remember, you have to buy the phone outright to do so, and some of the features may or may not work

It is true that you can take a cdma phone from another carrier to VZW but there are only a handful of phones that are compatable and you have to take the phone to a VZW store to have the software updated and some features may not work.

I highly doubt it. VZW's policy ins not to activate other carriers' phones at all now. In the past, one could activate an Alltel or Quest phone if they were All Digital or Tri-Mode but they won't even allow that these days. The problem with Sprint Phones is that most are PCS (1900 Mzh) with an analog roaming option at best. VZW plans these days require phones to be capable of both 800 Mzh and 1900 Mzh CDMA and Tri-mode would be best.

Agreed, but if the phone is tri-mode, and is not PCS, then you can obtain an ESN number and someother things, go to VZW, sign up for a plan, and you are good to go. Keep in mind, a lot of the features though that are specific to a phone predesigned for VZW will not be avaiable, such as Get It Now.

The person put a period mark at the end by accident. Just delete that and click go then it should work.
