ringtone memory
according to what lg tells me there is only a certain amount of memory allotted to ringtones out of the 5.97 mb in application memory.
im assuming application memory is where ringtones are stored, because under contents memory i have 0% filled up. my question is this is there a way to increase the memory of this phone so that you may enjoy a larger selection of ringtones. For example, inserting a memory card into the phone that is of larger capacity or something in that realm of thought?

how bout u look at ur phone...does it LOOK like there is ANYWHERE to put in a memory card? Why dont u just get a smart phone with a gazilion mb of space for ringtones.

This is why I have both a VZW phone and a Cingular phone. I use my VZW phone because my entire family is on VZW. I use my Cingular phone for all other calls and all of the fun stuff because they do not limit what you can do at all.

you never know. If people can hack into their phones and do all these crazy stuff. maybe somebody can figure out how to partition these phones. If you can partition off tune and tones, that if nobody wants this category, that could increase the memory for ring tones. Just by using a data cable and qpst. Any thing is possible.
