I'm hearing too may flaws with the vx 8000. such as message receipt error, screen blacking out when charging, and phone resetting it self. I really want this phone and I would like to hear from people who are not having any problem with there phone.

No problem here. Mine works just fine šŸ˜ You should check out the reviews on the 8000 at PCMAG and CNET. you can see it got great reviews. Unlike the V710 which is the biggest POS ever made which they release firmware updates that already have been recalled and actually do more harm than good. šŸ˜

the phone works perfectly fine, ive never had a droped call, never had the black screen, never had it shut off automatically. sometimes the ringers don't download, but if you try again it usually works. also, the reception and voice clarity is excelent. i deffinetly recomend this phone šŸ˜

Do you leave your phone ON all the time? It seems the auto shutdown happens to the ones that are always on.

My phone hasnt been turned off since I received it. It charges overnight.

Its funny how people call "us" fanboys of the 8000 cause we like it, and the people that dont like it are "gods".

I mean, if you dont like the phone dont get it. Every brand of phone has issues. So far with my 8000, I havent had a single problem. Obviously, according to posts, others have. That doesnt mean everyone will. A few people that have posted on howardforums about their phones messing up, are the very people who instruct you how to hack your phone. I havent messed with a single setting that isnt accessible from the main menu, IE, no hacking, and havent had any problems.

I am willing to bet the majority of the peopel complaining have modified t...

Some phones are lemons.. The more they put into the phone the more chance that something can go wrong. Ya know that is how it goes when you make a swiss army knife with too many functions. Use the heck out of it for the first 15 days and make sure you have a winner.

Also, keep in mind that there are people hired by competing companies to act as spoilers. They go to various sites and trash the product with various truthes mixed in with a bunch of lies.

For example they always ding the 8000 for not being able to delete ring tones. Which is not true. But a novice user would not immediately know where to look for it.

Or 1/2 truths like the USB cable does not charge the phone, this is true of Verizon. You can however buy one ...

I agree some truth to that. But no one neeeds to hire a spoiler for the 710 as this is a naturally spoiled phone LOL

I agree with you here. And remember, as I posted in another response. Alot of people hack their phones and screw it up. Then they cant replace it and in turn bash the phone cause it "suxors".
