yes this phone is WAAAYYY more bulkier that the vx7000 and it just isnt appealing to me and that is why i am getting the vx700 its my opinion so dont criticize me

Actually the 7000 is more bulkier than the 9900. Check the specs.....the 7000 is 3.89x1.89x.98, the 9900 is 3.66x1.89x.95. Not a lot of difference but the 7000 is more bulky.

The 7000 also does not have speaker phone, only 30 voice dialing compared to 100 for the 9900. The screen on the 7000 is smaller and with less brightness and contract, the camera takes POOR pictures indoors and only FAIR outdoors. The 9900 takes EXCELLANT pictures outdoors and can be mistaken for digital camera pics!

The 7000 is only dual mode, the 9900 is tri-mode, the 7000 only has 4mb of memory, the 9900 has 6.5mb (50% more), the ringtones on the 9900 have a greater range of quality (48 cords) more than the limited quality of the 7000.

First, besides the evdo, the camera on the 8000 is 2 times better than the 9900. Second, the 8000 has a speakerphone. Third, the 8000 has a better speakerphone. 4th, the 8000 has 2 262k color screens, as opposed to65k outside/262k inside for the 9900, and 5th, the inside screen is bigger on the 8000.

And as regards the 7000, besides the speakerphone, I feel the 7000 is a higher quality phone. And its cam and ringtone sound is just as good, if not better than the 9900. Ever wonder why the 9900 was priced so much lower? Infact, the 6000 and the 9900 were priced the same. And you can't say becau...

Don't forget, according to phonescoop the 8000 has 128 mb of memory, whereas the 9900 has 6.5 But actually the 9900 has a better internal screen, its qvga. And the 8940 looks even better.

Dude, it is obvious you have never actually used both these phones and compared them in your hand side by side.

Yes, the 8000 has some features that the 9900 doesn't like EVDO, but you are WRONG on most of your other points.

Yes, it is suppose to be QVGA. Looking at it, it looks great, maybe not quite as beautiful as the 9900, but the 9900 has a larger screen which adds to the WOW impression! 🙂 😲 😉 You should like it though. 🙂

On a side by side comparison, the 8940 and the 8000 are close in screen resolution with the 8940 having a edge.

However, the 8940 has all the features of the 8000 PLUS it has a removable mini SD card which is a BIG advantage. 😁

The 8000 has 176x220 resolution. QVGA is 240x320. Are you saying that its somewhere in between, or that its 240x320??

Yeah a kid at my school had this phone somehow and it was so big. I used too have the VX7000 and it was kinda big and ugly but the 8000 is huge and even uglier. But hey the phone does alot and they have to fit it all somewhere.

True, the 8000 is taller and wider than the 7000 or the 9900 but otherwise it is not to bad of a looking phone. And hey, it's a phone, it's are not suppose to be a work of art! 😳 They are for talking on, and when they are in a case on your hip, you can't see them any way, or when they are in your hand and you are talking on them. So what's the BIG deal about one being more "beautiful" than another.

People like to buy phones because of the features too. It's stupid to buy a boring phone with say, no games, no camera, or cool features. Yeah, reception, quality, and those things are important too but why make a phone with features when you don't care about them?
