Couldnt wait any longer. Sure the 9900 isnt as powerful as the 8000 but it was free after the $100/2year deal. Its a really nice phone and it didnt make much sense to wait for the 8000 and pay ~200 to ~300? after the $100 off...

Nice choice. The screen on this phone is phenominal. The whole megapixel camera is highly overated. Look at the 710. The 9900's camera is 10 times better. Plus, Verizon's network doesnt support sending of megapixel pictures. So what is the point? Honestly, I have seen the 8000 in person and played around with it. It it HUGE! Long and thick. I would say why wait for the 8000 unless you are going to use it for its main purpose, EV-DO, and that is only available in 17 markets. Look for the 8000 around January.
