Well, the battery only lasts about 6-8 hrs if you are using the PDA regularly during the day. If you have the opportunity to charge your MPx during the day then this is no problem. Right now I am doing some research and have the opportunity for a charge during the day so I have no problems right now. However, for me, I am a physician, when I take call I sometimes go non-stop for 36-48 hours straight and do not have time to charge the battery so this is the biggest problem. Let me add that when I quote 6-8 hrs I am talking WITHOUT the phone on at anytime. I quote that number from my MPx before hooking voice service up, so I fugure once you actually turn the phone on then things will get worse. I would like to get an extra battery pack but the damn phone hard resets when you change out the battery and you have to re-sync the phone so for me getting a second battery does not help b/c I would not have time to re-sync my phone on battery change. Also, I have had a hard time locating this battery so if you know of a source I would be interested in hearing where to get it. I use the screen in landscape almost exclusively. I think that is the best way to use this phone and the QWERTY kicks ass. I am really bumbed that they are not going to release this phone b/c it is truly the best form-factor out there. You can surg the internet in either direction. Every function works in both modes. I am overall very pleased with this phone and would recommend getting one if you cannot wait for the next motorola phone to come out. This phone is unconditionally better than any Treo out there and I have used a lot of them. The flip phone is undeniably better than any of the other form factors. Hope that helps...feel free to let me know if you have any other questions.
