🙄 It will ALL BE FINE... we all knew the MPx was crap. It's the form factor we're all in love with.

Expect a new phone to be announced soon on the same dual flip form factor runnng Windows Mobile 2005.

That's the 'real' reason the MPx was dumped, Moto has partnered with Microsoft and I'd expect an announcement in a month or two.

The MPx is dead... Long live the MPx 😲

I've already waited a full year through their postponements and revisions. I've got to consider a new phone if I can't get an MPX now!

If you must absolutely have one now, pull out your wallet & surf over to EBay

Can we get more details? Could they be getting the product from the "Orange" wireless/cell phone company in France and the UK?

The report from Digitimes references the MPX as if an afterthought see:

"The vendor also intends to discontinue orders of the MPx200 and MPx220 models with CMCS and the MPx with Compal Electronics, indicated the sources...Sources in the China handset market noted that the cancellation of the MPx is partly because the China government has banned unapproved devices using Wi-Fi from being sold in the country. Rather than take the Wi-Fi out of the device, Motorola instead decided to no bother selling the model in China, according to the sources."

It's amazing the Chinese consumer market has that kind of economic power to affect production of such a wonderful product!

Why not just sell to everyone else and forget about China?
