Motorola MPx220
BAD NEWS!!! ABOUT MPX220
Hey you guys, i currently own the V300 and can't wait till I get the mpx220 In jan.
As we all know, cingular and Att have joined forces. And I am planning to get the mpx220 for att. However, the bad news is that att isn't getting the phone anymore 😢 .. I looked at the phonescoop mpx220 link yesterday and it just said Cingular ..not att(tentative). I then went to hellomoto.com and it no longer has any promotions for the Mpx220 w/ att. So yes as we all guessed att isn't getting the phone. att says it would be out by nov 2nd ..and today is the 5th. So that answers my question. If anybody has any comments please reply it would be Extremely helpful!!!

I had this phone for a month and have had the V3 for about the same time frame. You will be VERY dissapointed then the 220. I tood it back right @ the 30 return policy at ATT. I was shocked at the how bad the 220 was. The good news is the the V3 is great.

this isnt bad news for att people...att doesnt excist anymore..if you upgrade you have to upgrade into cingular systems....basicly you can wait out your att contract and phone and not become a cingular cusotmer, but if you want a new phone, youll have to migrate to cingular while your doing it...hence why the 220 isnt being sold by att anymore...no phone will be shortly (in fact it should already be that way)
