Motorola MPx220
what a dissapointment
I presently own a MPX-200 and have been very pleased with it for the past year. I am a heavy user (about 4-5k min per month). However as i am in the cellular industry i have recently recieved in the cingular MPX-220. I took it home for the weekend and used it heavily for a couple of days. My overall opinion is why would motorola bring out a replacment for a phone that is worse than its predisary. (PS i Cant spell)

You said you use your phone heavily 4-5k monthly is...what percentage of that is talk time and what percentage is internet and web browsing time, or other time?

I am so glad I returned this phone. I use minimum of 10K per month in voice and this phoone is so bad. Got the V3, best phone I have ever had and I have had them all.

I am a Cingular customer since 99. I keep reading about everyone buying this phone as well as the V3. Where are you buying them? I hear about Best Buy. Not on their website. Also not on Cingular's website. Where are they??

You cannot buy this phone from cingular yet, nor can you view this phone online at bestbuy. It is only offered at a bestbuy store until middle of november.

This is correct however do not buy the 220 - very poor. The V3 however is absolutly great qa must buy.
