just a word of advice for you all.. as many of you know, I have had and sold several MPX220 and I have to tell you, I sold mine because the phone ended up being very bad. For starters, the reception quality is dreadful....Second, the battery life would only last for about 2 days stand by. That was with an upgraded battery that I bought in the store. Third, the volume on the phone was a disappointment.

The worst part about this phone was that the camera was beyond bad. I have to say that the motorola v400 had a better camera on it. Thats gives you a decent idea. THe flash was useless.

On a good note, this phones looks great. The bluetooth worked wonderful in my house up to about 30 feet. For those of you interested in this phon...

So, how many different places are you going to bad mouth this telephone at? The only phone that you could possibly have had would be a prerelease ROM.

I don't understand. 😕

Are you saying someone else has been using your account? Perhaps your password is too common and easy to guess - you should change that right away.

As for deleted messages, this forum system keeps a record of all deleted messages by user. Looking at your account, there are no deleted messages. I can't recall if I've deleted messages in this thread or not, but if so, they weren't written by you.

The fact that he bought many, then now wants to sell them shows that he really doesn't like them. I don't see why he would bad mouth the phone for no reason especially when he's trying to sell them. Bad mouthing the phone won't help him sell it ya know~.

It's always good to hear people's opinions. This is only headpub's opinion, but I think he's doing good by being honest about it.

Personally, I'm going to wait till few more people talk about this phone to make a decision...

I am a very high end user - no less than 10K minutes per month and have the latest phones as soon as they come out. I have a good friend who runs 2 ATTWS stores on LA and I can tell you that Motorola quality is poor. I have never had more trouble with phones than Motorola. Had 3 MPX200 and 4 V600 plus all the others and I can tell you that if you want quality do not be allured by the specs or how this phone looks in a picture. It is generally known that Motorola is not top shelf.

I have had a mpx220 and sold it as well. The only problems I had with are related to battery life and camera. My ROM was pre-production but very close to the final version.

The issue of the camera will be difficult to fix on a ROM upodate. There will be some improvmement but it shoots like a .3mp camera and I have heard that it has not been imporved by much.

Battery life is 1-2 days tops with light calling. Much lees with Bluetooth. ROM upgrade will help this but more I would not hopew for much more the 3-4 days standby and 1-2 days with mid level use.

I picked up a c500 and like it very much. The MPX220 is a nice litte phone but lack of voice dialing using bluetooth and battery life were the 2 features I really needed.
