Motorola V710

Verizon tried to frighten me into buying a new car power adapter for the 710, saying that the one I used on my Timeport 270c was not compatible even though it would plug into the phone properly. They alledged it would burn out the phone. Motorola tech support said that this was not true. Any car power adapter used on the Timeport 270c or 280 is totally compatible with the 710!
