RINGER STYLE question

I have a few questions about the ringer styles.
I understand that you can choose "Ringer ID's" for each person (so you can have a special ringer for your Mom - awwww.. how cute 🤣 )

Ok - but here is my question.
Let's say I make a certain ringer for my girlfriend (I don't know... let's say the ringer style I choose is called "Chimes").
What happens if my phone is set to vibrate while I'm in a movie. Will her calls ring out loud because her Ringer ID is set to an audible ringer?

What about vice-versa. What if I assign a certain ring-tone (let's say: "vibrate dash-dot" to a certain person. But - later that day, I have my phone set to: LOUD as the ringer style. Will that person's calls vibrate? Or will they ring with the same r...

The style will overide the actual ringtone assigned to something. So, if your ringtone for your girlfriend is "Chimes" and you have the style set to "Vibrate"...your phone will vibrate when she calls.

If you have the ringtone set to "vibrate dash-dot" and your style is set to "Loud"...your phone will vibrate cause that's the ringtone associated with it. However, if you set your ringtone to "vibrate dash-dot" and your style is set to "Vibrate"...you get the standard vibrate when the phone rings...and not the dash-dot vibrate ringtone.

Don't know if that was clear or not.

The other answer is confusing. Here it is. Get this...you can tell your phone what you want it to do! 😲

If you have the style on vibrate, and you go to the vibrate style detail, there is an option for Ringer ID's. By default, it is set to off when in vibrate mode. You can turn it on if you would like it to use the caller's ring, but most people don't. (By default, it is set to "on" for Loud and Soft styles)

I spent the first couple of days going through every menu and options screen to get to know my new moto. I would recommend the same for anyone else who gets the phone. This phone is remarkably customizable compared to other phones.
