CAR CHARGER

I was cautioned in the Verizon store yesterday not to use the car charger that I was using for my Motorola Timeport.

I looked at the specs on the desktop charger. The Timeport charger says: 5.9 v, 400 ma. The v710 charger says 5.9 v, 375 ma. I'm not an electricity mavin, but doesn't that seem almost identical? The car charger worked just fine on the old phone, is there any reason I shouldn't use it?

Thanks!!

Chargers and Data Cables as well as the FM Radio works are the same for the following models:
Motorola T720, T720i, T721, T722i, T730, T731, V70, V300, V400, V600, V710, V60i, V60c, V60p(PTT), V60s, V60t, V60t Color, V60g, V60x, V66, V120c, 120t, 120x, 120c, 120e, Motorola C331 and 332 (TDMA versions), C333 (CDMA with antenna), C343, C353 (TDMA), 270c, 280 phones and V200 Personal Communicator.

The Timeport charger I'm not certain because the chargers for the above phones only has 3 pins and the connector is about 1/4" wide. The Timeport I think uses the same thing as the StarTAC did if you have the Silver colored Timeport which is just a Silver colored StarTAC, the connectors are different on those as they are more than 4x as large.

Here advise you a popular 4 ports car charger, support more devices charging with full speed, total 10Amps and 2.4A more for each port.
