HELP! Sending ring tones to V710

Greetings to all, hey, i know this is an ollllld subject but... how do i get a ring tone to my VERIZON v 710? I just tried sending an mp3 file via funformobile.com and wonderful VERIZON converted the file to .mid and my v 710 will NOT play it. Please help!! ☹️

the easiest way to do it is first to start out with a memory card, do u have one?
