Just call 1-866-BUY-MOTO or goto verizon's website or vzw store. These are the only two places I've found to purchase the extended battery. Moto is cheaper, however.

it'll work, its got a cutout in it already... its the 3rd party and/or aftermarket clips/cases that may not handle the thicker battery.

I can't provide a direct link because of the way this web site is setup but use the following link to goto the Verizon Wireless B2B accessory site. All accessories there are 35% off.

http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2b/ewelcome »

After going to that page, pick the first Motorola entry in the "Brand" list. Yes there are 2 entries. Then pick the "V710 with Mobile Office Kit" from the model list. You'll see the extended battery in the accessory list for $32.49. They will ship it for free via 2 day Fed Ex delivery. If your city/state has sales tax, you will be charged for it.

In case you're wondering, if you pick the second Motorola entry from the "Brand" list, you'll see the V710 as the only model in the model list but when you goto...

By the way, that $32.49 price blows away Motorola's own price of $56.98 (or something like that) for the extended battery and door.

Why would you question whether or not it's ligitimate when the URL includes www.verizonwireless.com and redirects you to an online Verizon store which also includes verizonwireless.com. This isn't like those spam emails which redirect you to a fake web site that includes an IP address in the URL.

I bought the Motorola HS820 from that site for $51.99 (which beats all prices online including the "Buy It Now" prices on eBay) and also the original Verizon leather swivel case for $12.99. I also picked up the $20 rebate form for the Motorola HS820 from a Verizon Wireless store. If I get the rebate, I'll have paid only $31.99 + tax (on original cost of $51.99...

The fact that you go so bent out of shape over his question proves to me you're lying about the legitimacy of the website--either that or you honestly have no clue....

What say you?

HavokzProdigy, the link you posted is where you're redirected when you use the first link that I posted and going directly there won't work. When I first went to that URL, I originally tried saving the URL where I was redirected in my favorites but when I tried to go back to it, I kept getting the message that the web site is being updated. You have to use the one I posted and let it redirect you automatically. Here it is again.

No I'm not lying and I know it's legitimate. What do I have to gain about lying about that? I've been on this forum since February (just scroll back the 500 pages and read you'll see my posts) and on HowardForums for almost 2 years providing good information to people so don't accuse me of lying. Several people on here can vouch for me.

The tone of my response was because the question was really kind of dumb, especially if you look at the URL. It starts with www.verizonwireless.com. The only way i...
